Grasping of Climate has been running from 1st of January 2003 until 30th of June 2005. The main goal of this school project was to develop an understanding of how energy use impacts on our environment and climate, and how our individual choices in everyday life are of importance for the future. This was done by inspiring and developing methods for teachers to work with their pupils on themed projects. In the project interactive exhibitions has been built in the three participating countries. Teacher education course and seminars, interactive dramas and pedagogic activities for schools has been performed. A 72 pages teacher inspirational guidebook summarising experiences and ideas collected during the project was produced. Guidebook in Swedish >> The National Energy Foundation (NEF) in Milton Keynes, UK, is more specialised in teaching children about energy issues and complement therefore Teknikens Hus in a good way. Rhônalpénergie-Environnement (RAEE), Lyon, France, has expertise in climate questions and a good network for dissemination of results to key target groups in a third language. Norrbotten Energy Network have a large national and international network in energy, environment and climate areas, and complement Teknikens Hus with an expertise in running projects as well as producing project reports.
